Assistant Director Sean Watson

Deputy Sean Watson was born and raised in Camarillo California, where he graduated Camarillo High School, in 2001. In September of 1997 Sean was a sophomore at Camarillo High School, when he heard of the Cops N Jocks Youth Academy. Sean applied to the Youth Academy, and was told by Academy Staff that because he was not a junior, he would need special approval from the Academy Commander and his High School Counselor to attend. As a typical high school student, Sean lost interest d did not try to obtain approval and forgot about the Cops N Jocks Program. In September of 1998 after receiving a phone call from program staff, about the program, Sean re-submitted his application and was accepted to the 16-week Youth Academy. Sean graduated and returned to the program as administrative staff.

While attending his senior year at Camarillo High School, Sean, started his law enforcement career. In 2000, Sean was hired by the California State University Channel Islands Police Department, as a Parking Officer.

After graduating from Camarillo High School in 2001, Sean became a Property Evidence Technician, with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office. Sean worked for the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office for 2 years, when he left to further his law enforcement career.

Meanwhile Sean continued his work with the Cops N Jocks Program, and worked with the Youth Academy, Student Government and National Operations.

In 2003 Sean went to work for the Pepperdine University Department of Public Safety. Sean became a Senior Officer, and in 2005 Sean left the Pepperdine University Department of Public Safety, to move to Arizona and be closer to family. In 2005 Sean became a Deputy Sheriff with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, and was assigned to the Bullhead City area where he works and lives today.

After starting his employment with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Sean was appointed Assistant Director of the Cops N Jocks Program and he oversees national operations outside the state of California
