Assistant Director Christopher Sherry
Christopher began volunteering with Cops N Jocks in 1998 as a Staff Officer at the Cops N Jocks Youth Academy. In 1999 he was appointed as the Assistant Director of the National Cops N Jocks Program. Sergeant Sherry has worked for the California Highway Patrol since 1996. He has served in the Ventura, Redwood City, and San Jose CHP Areas. In addition to road patrol duties, he has served as a Field Training Officer, Emergency Medical Technician, and Drug Recognition Expert. Sergeant Sherry is a Department Associate Instructor and regularly sits on the CHP Cadet Oral Panels.

In 2004, Sergeant Sherry was selected as the supervisor of the Judicial Protection Section, Northern Unit. The Judicial Protection Section’s primary mission is to provide security and protection to the California Supreme Court and the California Court of Appeal.

Sergeant Sherry, an Eagle Scout, is the 4th generation of law enforcement in his family. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from California State University, Chico as well as a Paralegal certificate. Sergeant Sherry lives in Danville with his wife and two children.
