COPS N JOCKS COMES
TO THE CAPITOL

On October 22nd, 2007, Directors Officer Rich Randolph and Sergeant Christopher Sherry traveled to Sacramento to promote the Cops N Jocks program. They made contact with the Governor’s office, State Department of Education, and the Attorney General’s Office.

Randolph and Sherry met with George B. Anderson, Director of the Law Enforcement Division of the Department of Justice. They conducted a video presentation and explained the Cops N Jocks program to Director Anderson. Director Anderson was impressed with how much the program has grown in ten years and related that he saw the benefits of such a program. Cops N Jocks is looking for the Department of Justice to officially endorse the program and recognize the various law enforcement officers who donate their time.  We look forward to a good working relationship with the Department of Justice.

Numerous other presentations are scheduled statewide.  We will keep you posted of future presentations.
