This letter is to inform you of how the Cops N Jocks Program helped me to achieve my goals in becoming a police officer.  During my junior year in high school, I had the honor and pleasure of meeting, at that time, Sergeant “Fernie” Estrella.  Fernie always was there for me when I needed someone to talk to.  During those times, I realized that I too could make a difference in someone’s life, like Fernie made in mine.  During my senior year, I spoke to Sergeant Estrella and told him that I would like to one day become a police officer.  He simply smiled and always showed support.

Through the Cops N Jocks Program, I was able to meet Fernie and know that I achieved my goal of becoming a peace officer.  I would like to thank whoever is responsible for caring so much about the youth.  Hope fully, what little words I have said can show you how one program can have such an impact on one’s life.
